The first large dormitory.

The Woodlands Outdoor Centre offers accommodation for up to 30 persons which is ideal for large groups to use as a base for outdoor activities in Snowdonia. We employ a part time warden to welcome your group to the centre and look after the site. Click or select the photographs below for a better view.

Toilets include separate male / female hot showers, changing rooms and washing facilities.

 

   

Games room is equipped with two pool tables, dart board, TV and video all for use free of charge.

Drying room with hangers, a double paneled radiator and extractor fan.

Main Kitchen with a range of stainless steel work tops and inset sinks, wash basin, microwave, fridge, grills, large commercial cooker, small cooker ten ring hob and large extractor fan. All cutlery and kitchen utensils are provided.

We also have a small Self catering kitchen with six ring hob, microwave, fridge and sink.

The centre has an elevated village location with good-sized grounds with a large sweeping drive and parking. It is fitted with an Automatic Fire Alarm System and has dual escape routes.

      

We have a total of 30 beds located in seven dormitories each of which varies in size from 1 bed to 10 beds. On this first floor we have three dormitories that sleep 8, 2 and 10. On the second floor we have four dormitories that sleep 1, 2, 3 and 4.

All Dormitories are centrally heated each with bunks, mattresses, duvets and bed linen (which must be used).

A lockable bike shed is also available for up to 20 bikes.

Smoking inside is not permitted.

   

To fulfil our purpose the Association needs to monitor the types of programmes its user groups are following and record their achievements as they see them. Users are asked to return an outline programme with the confirmation of booking. An evaluation sheet and photograph of the group is also needed for our annual report.
